I am at the half-way point in my half marathon training! I cannot believe I have made it this far. I’m continuing to see improvements in my running – which is super encouraging. This past week, I ran 8 miles! I have NEVER, in my life, run 8 miles before. My long runs every week really push me, and the sense of achievement I have at the end is something I cannot describe except that the runner’s high is real.
This year, I have really tried to push myself out of my comfort zone and embrace healthier living, eating, and trying new apps to accomplish my goals, such as Achievement. Achievement has been such a complementary tool to my healthier lifestyle journey. I have gone rock climbing, completed a 10k, and biked a lot more than I ever have! It has truly been a summer of achieving the best possible me.
It is one of my favorite apps to use because unlike a lot of other apps that require a lot of time and attention, Achievement is a low maintenance app that offers points for daily healthy decisions like walking, logging your food, drinking water, and more. The best part is once you reach a certain amount of points for your healthy decisions you receive cash! I don’t know about you, but I certainly like getting the physical rewards along with monetary benefits of making better choices!Achievemint just rebranded to Achievement! They have a whole new and improved look, that I just love! Their premise is still the same but they are taking what they perfected (aka giving points for healthy decisions) and took it to a whole new level. My new favorite feature is the Offers tab. It is a way to earn extra points through surveys and connecting apps. I completed the Health Goals Survey, that made me sit down and think of all that I have accomplished, what I still want to accomplish, and how the app can help me reach those goals! They will continue to add more offers which is a great way for you to earn extra points! In the past, they have had fun and active offers like riding your bike to work and connecting to health apps to make it even more fun to make healthy decisions and earn extra points!
Achievement is all about creating the best possible you and they are celebrating everyone with their #summerofachievements! It is a fun way to connect with others who are also reaching their goals, whatever they may be.
